Established in 2020 by sisters Angela Hunter and Monica Welsh (with the help of very supportive husbands and families!), Jacaranda House hopes to continue the legacy of the building's initial purpose: to serve the community of the Weddin Shire and surrounds. Jacaranda House proudly occupies Grenfell's "Old" CWA Rooms and Baby Health Centre, which was built in 1948. Angela and Monica have been transforming the beautiful mid-century building into a versatile event space and boutique accommodation, while retaining as many original features as possible. They also host a "pop-up" restaurant once a month, bringing a variety of cuisines to the Weddin Shire, using local suppliers.
